Spirit of Knowledge

Here is a little reflection on the spirit of knowledge ( you probably know that my family is doing the novena to the holy spirit. Anyways, The spirit of knowledge is the knowing that some material items you have on earth aren't important in heaven. Take money, for instance. What if right before you died, someone gave you a million dollars, and you stuffed it in your pockets. Umm..what are you supposed to do with it in heaven? Buy a new CD player? no. Get tickets to a movie? no.Buy a new video game? no. Go on a major shopping spree? Well, you get my point. What you COULD do with it though, is, before you die, use the money for a good cause like helping the poor or donating it to the rice bowl. Or take a new video game. There is not going to be any use for it in heaven,so why bother with it on earth? Why not instead, save up money for your " heavenly bank account" and over the summer, visit the elderly or offer to help do a job! It's what my family talked about last night, and it gives you something to think about =)
