Playing With The Kids Before Summer Ends

I was outside a couple of days ago with John Luke and Annelise because . . . well just because I did. But even though summer doesn't end until September 21st or something, my summer break ends.....today!! I have to start school tomorrow, but that's okay because we get to go to Massachusetts on Thursday :) And also, I didn't complete many of the things on that list I made, but I had a bunch of fun, with swim team, and my siblings, and hanging out with friends, and camp, and wild waves, and everything that I did!!!!! So here are your pictures.....

This picture seem familiar? It is, but I'm wearing something else....  :)

What!? What is This Terrible Thing You Speak of?

Ullgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

School starts next week.

On Monday.

Hurraugh. ( Notice the sarcasm. )

Well, I suppose that is kinda good, because I am putting some cool things on my blog for the brand new school year-yay! In a couple of days I will reveal what new features I will be putting on my blog. :)

But other than that, school starts next week, and I am only excited to see the friends I haven't seen over the summer.

I am totally not excited for Waking up early, making everyone's lunches every morning, ( 5 lunches people, 5 lunches! ) having homework, quizzes, tests, and . . . just having to go to school.

But I really hope I get an awesome class with all my fave. 7th and 8th graders!! That would rock! And also, I get to audition for the play this year, and wear a grey skirt instead of a plaid one, ( woop woop! ) plus I am trying out for club volleyball (yay! ) so those are some things to look forward to.

Also, I am going to Massachusetts for a week and  half next Thursday, so that's exciting. ( Except for that I will have to make up homework) And this year we get out every  Wednesday at 2:00, but I don't see how great that will be. Because sometimes we have the first Friday of the month off, and now we won't have as many off. GRRR. I also think that we should be able to wear whatever shoes we want, instead of grey, white, and black, :( , and get to wear cute things! I think it would be so awesome if the Jr. High got to wear free dress every Friday or something like that!

Also, the Puyallup Fair is this month, and I have already talked to a couple of friends of mine about setting up dates to go, so I hope that happens! That would be reaallly fun, because I love the Puyallup Fair.

But now my Mom is kicking me off, because it is my sisters turn on the computer, so

Au Revoir!

Muahaha

So Y'all, I finished the majority of my room, I just have like a shelf to put up and do some last touches. But I haven't taken any pictures yet, and I am going to torture you by not letting you see it....it's really pretty! Hahaha. :)

My room!

Well I finished painting it, and I have started to put some things together, like my nightstand, and I have my mirror up, bulletin boards up, picture collage up, and a couple other things. I am not going to put any pictures up until the very end, when I have the before and after pictures. yay! :)

Lillianna Grace! :)

Lillianna is cute so far, and Anne Marie loves her soooo much, in fact, that she is going to homeschooled this year so she can help my mom with the baby. :) Here are some pictures of the baby!

 she's like, "What the heck?"

Windmill Gardens

On Sunday, after mass, my family went to the Windmill Gardens for some breakfast! They had really good food, and the gardens are absolutely beautiful, with amazing flower pots, and flower gardens, it is just really pretty, and yesterday it was very sunny so that was cool too. :) Our family is kind of loud in restaurants, at least the little kids are, and that kinda caused a little disruption for other people there, but it wasn't too bad. The food took a  really long time to come, but the kids ate it so fast because they wanted to go back outside to see the fish in the pond-things. We sort of had a brunch, it was like sausage, eggs, pancakes, home-fries, scones, and other things. It was real good! :) Here are the pictures. :)

Oh No! My Room Is Looking Less and Less Like Itself! ( But I Suppose That's a Good Thing)

My room indeed is changing! Yesterday I started painting my walls with a family friend of ours who also nannies the younger kids, and it is starting to look super different! I finished the last small section today, and my room is all blue right now! ( Except for the ceiling)

All I have left to do is paint the ceiling white and do another coat of paint on my wall. Since it took a gallon to do the whole thing once, I figured it would take another to do it twice really well, so my mom is out getting another gallon right now, as well as a quart of white paint for my ceiling. I hope it's enough!

I also have paint all over my hands and on my clothes. ( good thing they're paint clothes! ) This morning as well as the past couple of days I had volleyball camp at the University of Puget Sound, and it has been great, and I like it better than some of the other camps I have been to. I like this one because it is an hour shorter, which is nice, and it also has college girls coaching us instead of high-schoolers, so the coaching is really good which makes it more fun! I have one more day left, which is tomorrow. Tonight is also the penguin Swim Team banquet, which I am excited for!!! I'm probably not going to get any trophies or anything like that, but it's okay. It is still really fun, with swimming and stuff, so I hope that'll be fun.

Here are some pictures of the things I have been working on. I still need to upload the ones of the paint. :P

My Mom decoupaging letters.... ( OMG for...well it should be obvious to you :P  ) I did the rest right after her, but I had to stop so I could take a picture.  :)
 The pan of Mod Podge

The letters at the end!! So pretty! Especially since they started off brown.....I still need to trim the edges and add pretty borders to them to make them pop more.

The bench before.....and after......I still need to sew the new cloth on, as you can see, but there is such a difference in the two! Especially after I painted it and got new fabric! The two things really do make a difference. :)

My closet full of all of my stuff that is regularly in my room because I needed to move it for painting!

This isn't supposed to be a picture of me, just of my mirror, a shelf taken down, and other things. It looks weird with everything on my walls down! It's so different!

Well, I still have a handful of things I need to get done before I finish my room, but since my Mom is due to have her new baby any day now, and we are going to Massachusetts in a couple of weeks, those will both put dents in my progress, but that's okay because I am really really excited to go to Boston and see all of my Dad's side of the family, whom I haven't seen in a couple of years!!!! Yay!!! :)

Signing out,  (To go do some more painting )

Re-modeling My Bedroom

Well when I was 9 I reaaalllyyy wanted to re-model my room, so I asked my mom about it. She obviously said no, but said "When you turn 13, we'll re-model your room" so I gave her a yellow Post-it note, ( I remember! ) and had her sign that she would. so here we are, and my birthday is next month, and I am working on it right now. I started about a week ago, and I have the theme and the colors picked out.  The theme is like antique/Paris, and the colors are some different shades of blue, as well as ivory and this pretty yellow. I have done a couple of things so far, and I am working on painting the walls, but I have so so so many more things to do. I have taken a few pictures so far, and some more I have to download, but here are the ones I have, and I will keep you updated until I am done......

Here is this old piano bench we had and I re-painted it and got new fabric for the top. I have another picture of it with the fabric, but I still need to upload it.

All of my stuff in my closet.
my walls....they actually aren't that yellow, it was just the setting/lighting on my camera
This bookshelf with all of my lists of things to do and tools and stuff
The bench re-painted, but without the fabric on top.
