Ahhh!!!!!!!

I am a terrible, terrible person.....well I just haven't blogged in a week! I am terribly sorry...Jr. High is a lot harder than 6th grade at my school, and I have a lot more homework! I have also been busy doing things after school, but tonight, (before I start the rest of my homework) I am going to do a couple of posts for you.....enjoy! :)

Hey Y'all! Some recent happenings in my life have been...

- My birthday! 13 woo hoo!

- John Marks birthday! 7 woo hoo! :) haha

- And those new features I keep forgetting to tell you about, lol. well since I don't need pictures for new features, I may as well tell you now! Yay! Fiiiiiinnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaallllllllllyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!

So some new features are....

Oh wait. I forgot. I may have a couple more coming up later, because I have a list somewhere in my bedroom, haha. But without further ado, my new features!

- Y'all know how much I love fashion and buying clothes ( well maybe not, but I do. It is a frivilous habit and sometimes I think I could spend all day on a certain clothing website or at a store. :)  )
And every week I dress up for mass! and I usually take a picture of it. So I will be posting my weekly mass outfit, to show you my fashion sense. :) I will call it " Fashion....Fridays? No. Fiesta? No. Kay. I think I got it. Frivilous Fashion Fads. Yeah! Hahah it doesn't really make sense, but, whatever.

- I will also be posting about a new movie/book/song/artist/band I currently like. I will put as many as three per week, as little as 1. I will either write a review, put a picture, put a link, depends on whatever it is.

- I will be putting a totally random post up each week about..whatever. I look forward to writing these! You should have no idea what to expect, but that doesn't matter.

- And others...later. :) I am going to try to keep a more orderly schedule, but keep in mind that I have Drama Troupe twice a week, with a lot more homework this year because I am in Jr. High, and I am starting club volleyball soon! So much! But that's okay, I hope you read my blog nonetheless.

Please also keep in mind that I am dropping all of the Mindless Monday, Funny Friday, etc. That was last year, this is...this year. Obviously. And I will still be posting about the daily happenings in my life, too! So I am excited, and later this weekend I will try to post about My birthday and John Mark's birthday. I am also going Booing this weekend and am also going to Fright Fest, so I will post about those too.

I also have a couple of surprises up my sleeve, so be warned....muahaha.

Enjoying The Small Things - Kelle Hampton is a Mom of two adorable girls, with one on the way, and they are the cutest girls ever!! She is an absolute amazing writer, and is a very very very skilled photographer....I love reading her blog!

71 Toes - 71 Toes is the life of a Mormon family, and the Mom has great insights, and is a ( again ) wonderful photographer. She takes cute shots, has beautiful children, and her posts are full of spunk and I love reading them.

Little Miss Cupcake Cutie - Clare is a wonderful writer, and I love reading her blog! She takes cute photos, and morphs humor into all of her posts, and  somehow every time makes it cute and funny. She is also a skilled baker, and I love looking at her specialty- cupcakes, as well as the cakes and other things she bakes.

What fictional character do you think you are most like? 

Sammy Keyes. If you haven't read the series, you're in deep trouble. Anyways, Sammy and I both make witty remarks, love mysteries, and seem to be dragging our friends into things they don't want to do. Although I am not as rude to my Grandma as she is, when I read the books I see myself in her.

What is your guilty pleasure? 

Hmmm...probably hiding up in my room curled up with a favorite book when my Mom wants me to do a job. She usually ends up marching up to my room and taking my book away .  :)  Other than that, eating chocolate.  :P

Hrm.....well, I'd have to say my books/library card, my laptop, and my fave. clothes

Well I don't have an answer for that, so I'll come up with another question.

Heeeeeeyyyyy.....My Blog Works!!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!! My blog works!!!! Well, idk if you have missed me, but I have missed blogging!!! I have done a bunch of really fun things in the past month like swim team ( we won three meets! ) , going to CYO Camp Hamilton, hanging with my friends, palying volleyball, going running, watching the blue angels, re-modeling my room, ( I am actually in the process of now, and will not be done with until mid-September....yes there will be pictures, as I have already taken many!! ) and a bunch of other stuff, but sadly, I believe it would be way too much work  to try and post about everythiiing that happened to me during July, so I am going to start fresh!!!!! I have a lot of fun things in store for you starting in September, where I will be featuring new things on my blog, which I am going to keep a secret now, but I do have some great ideas!!! I am also going to make a blogging schedule, so you can know when to expect posts, and I will also have some other fun surprises, but you will just have to wait and see!!! Also, I am really happy to have gotten the Toujou Blogger Award, ( woo hoo! ) which I will explain about later, but until then, I am going to go outside and enjoy the WONDERFUL 90 degree weather (oh yeah!! Summer FINALLY came to Seattle!!!! )

Check Up . . .

Hey Everyone! I am soo soo soo soo sooooo sorry I haven't posted in like the last couple of weeks or so, but my stupid blog wasn't working because stupid Google storage changed their plans for a certain amount of GB and it wouldn't load and blah, blah, blah. But I guess whenever I try to use it on the family computer, it doesn't work, but the pictures load, and on my laptop, the pictures won't load but the blog works. So, with that being said, I am going to ask my Dad to try to figure out how to fix it on one computer, or the other, or both. Right now, I am going to tell you what I exactly have been up to, ( I am writing it down so I don't forget! ) Then I will actually write the blog posts and send them to my Gmail, so when the blog works, I will have them ready to copy/paste with the pictures! You will have a field day looking at all of the wonderful posts I have. So, to get to the point, here are all of the things I have been doing...........

- Taking pictures of Lucianna ( she is getting so big and cuter by the day! )
- Setting off fireworks in the backyard
- Actually celebrating the 4th at my cousins house
- Mary Catherine in the hospital..don't get freaked out! We were playing hospital, and I took pictures..that's how awesome it was. :)

-Some random stuff
-Doing Annelise's nails
-What I have been up to...

and I bunch more stuff, like my cousins being here, doing fun stuff, and the nice weather. :) ( 80 degrees all week....that may not be much for you, but I live in Seattle, and all we get is rain.... )

Also, this week I am going on a retreat with my family, so I won't get to post as much, but I will have lots to share this weekend or next week, then I am off to Camp Hamilton again, (woo hoo! ) and after that is just more amazing pictures of flowers in my backyard, the kids being goofs, and other fun family getaways.

So, I am looking forward to the rest of the summer with you, I am ready for a ton of fun and a ton of pictures and a ton of writing! :)

Hey!

Hey everyone right now I just got home from swim practice, and it's 11 oclock. I know, I get done at 9:30 and don't get back till 11. It's because all of my younger siblings have practice. We had our parent/kid meet last night, and our first official meet is next Tuesday at Kent.

Next week I am doing volleyball camp at Kennedy Catholic High School all week every day from 9 AM to 1 PM, and there will be a tournament at the end. I decided that I want volleyball to be my high school sport, not soccer or swim team, but I will still do swim team in the summer, and I will also keep running so I stay in shape....that is why I am doing volleyball camp now, so I can actually make the team in high school. Also, me and my friend Andrea are both on swim team, so after swim a couple times a week, we are going to be taking a couple of volleyballs over to the tennis courts at the club, and are going to practice our serves, bumping, spiking, hitting, setting, and other things. I am excited for that!

Also, I have been very busy reading a bunch of books, I have a big stack of them by my bed.....

Right now I am too lazy to go get my camera, but I do have pictures of a lot of fun things!!

What?! It can't be!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, nothing extremely bad happened. I am still going to camp, and my family and friends are all safe and accounted for .  :) But it is almost Saturday, May 12th! And I have gotten no entries for my contest!!!!! NOO! Dudes, that's what  I call pathetic. No, you don't have to comment or send me an email saying sorry, ( please don't, actually)  but I just wanted to say that's how lowly and not-viewed-a-lot my blog is! This is why you need to tell people to go on it. and if this is your first time on my blog, remember Pride and Prejudice! If you don't like this post, and think I am some scary ogre that is mean and complains, don't worry! keep reading or look on the sidebar and see my beautiful pictures!

And also, pray for me that I find the cord to charge my camera with. Because my camera is out of battery. And if it is out of battery, I can't take pictures! And if I can't take pictures, then my life is over! ( And I also wont be able to take pictures of camp- GASP! -read about hat below) And if my life is over, then you won't be able to read my beautiful blog! so pray guys! And I wont' be able to download the pictures on my camera that are sitting there, and turst me- you want to see them.

Talk About Camp....

Well since we are leaving for camp in less than 3 days, I figured  I had better give you the run down of it, so there is no extra long explaining to do when  I get back. I figure, read the stuff and get to the pictures ! So 6th grade camp is a big tradition at our school, and we spend the whole year preparing for it. For most of that part, it is just practicing the square dancing with the 5th graders, but then on February 22nd, the 6th graders went to camp class and the 5th graders went to nutrition.

At camp clss, we learned a little bit about what we are going to do at camp, but it mostly focused on plants, tress, forestry, and water-cycle stuff. We learn how to identify a bunch of plants and trees, and have a big test on it.  We also learn about things like Merits for Manners, a point system in the dining hall at camp. We also all have a camp binder, which is worth HALF of our grade! We have to write paragrahs of about 50 different things we do at camp, and we decorate the front and put dividing sheets in and it is a really big deal. I will actually do a whole post just on camp binders.

At camp we are going to do a variety of activities, and are also going with Maplewood School, and St. Francis Cabrini School. I hope that I have at least one close friend of mine in my cabin, and I hope I meet a lot of friends at camp that I will be friends with for a long time! :) 

We are going to be at camp for 5 days, and will obviously be eating and sleeping there, so I am really excited! We are departing in the bus on Monday morning at 9:45, and the whole school stands on the blacktop waving and cheering, saying goodbye, along with our parents. 

We also have camp sweatshirts, I am wearing mine right now.  :)    ( We got them today)

Good News - It is supposed to be super nice next week, in the 80's on Monday, and 70's throughout the week! We are ususally supposed to bring rain gear and long pants and coats, but they changed some rules and now we can wear shorts!!!! But only for the days when we aren't going hiking where there are needles ( Oh my gosh! Needles hurt SO bad! -notice the sarcasm. ) which includes Monday! So I am wearing shorts on Monday.

 I am all packed and ready for camp, except for a few things, so send your prayers and blessings my way that I have a great week with all of my friends, and don't get sick!!!!! ( And that I am in a cabin with one of my close friends.  :P   )

What's your "thing? "

Have you ever had that awful, irritated, feeling, where someone goes and copies your fabulous idea? Or when you get something, and you want it to be kind of "your" thing? Like, Sarah's "thing " is Chorus, she is the only person out of my friends that does that, and we all go to her concerts and she is a very skilled singer . ( I actually don't have a friend named Sarah that does chorus ) Or how about if someone starts, let's say, I don't know, Cupcake baking. And they have lots of cupcake supplies and ingredients, and impressive tools and machines and accessories all for making cupcakes! Everyone knows that  cupcakes are that person's " thing " . ( My cousin, Clare, actually does have that hobby, and her cupcakes are quite good. Go visit her blog at littlemisscupcakecutie.blogspot.com ) Well, y'all know how I started the smashboook thing-a-ma-bob? Well, someone asked me to bring it to school, and now a million people have one.

Haha I probably sound like a nag. But still. To make myself not so ....... anymore, I will just post some nice, old, quotes.

But I have been putting up cute pictures. : ) I will have to post about some cute Lucianna stories, because there are a lot! As for Tuesdays Tips and Thursday Things, I don't really think I am going to do those anymore, but you can still look on the sidebar in "labels" for past ones.  :) Mindless Mondays I love, so I might start those up again, maybe one every couple of weeks, I think y'all like them as well, and that pretty much wraps it up!

Okay, okay.

Alrighty, Grace. I think you convinced me. I couldn't stand no color, and where was that Christmas music? I do like thelayout of the other template, but my personality is shown better here, and the other one was a little bit confusing. :( . Anyways, I hope you enjoy my blog any way it is, and another thing : We went to downtown Seattle on the Lightrail train yesterday and looked at the gingerbread houses at the Shariton hotel! more about that later. I thought I would be brave and try the new google blog design, I hpe you like it. If you don't like my favorite kind of the blog view, look at the top of my blog. There is the section that says " magazine " , and you can test the other kinds. There is sidebar, a picture kind, and like 5 others.I know there is no music, decorations, polls, or stuff like that, but I like it  like this because it is a lot " cleaner ", and it is more simple and still absolutely amazing at the same time. Christmas is Coming Up

Christmas is coming up this week, on Sunday to be specific, so it technically counts as next week, but it is in a week.  :P I have been hanging around the house, and my mom left to IKEA today to get my brothers this really cool bunk bed, one that I wish I would have had when I was a kid. I re-decorated my bedroom, not like really really did, like as in " I got a new bed and new furniture and re-painted, etc. " , as in I switched comforters for my bed, took some of the Christmas decorations down, and re-did my entire bulletin board, which is really big, and took a long time, but was totally worht it! It is really really cute, with some adorable quircky pictures, sayings, clippings, photo's, and other do-dads. Email me telling me about what you are doing for the season, I would love to find out about you and your family, especially if you are a girl around my age, ( 12 ) , and if you have a blog, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see it!!!!

Well....

Well, I have had a lot of good blogging days, but I have been really busy with sports, homework, school, family stuff, church stuff, and a million other things. I loved loved loved blogging, and still do, but I cant really fit tim in for it anymore, so I am only going to post rarely when I do have the time, like for Christmas and big things like that. I am still doing photography, ( :)  ) and am still continuing soccer, but I wont be able to blog as much. So, so long for a while until I can pick the speed back up.  :)
