MDBC Series

Jess. Cassidy. Megan. Emma. Becca. Well, those are the five girls in the Mother Daughter Book Club. As it turns out in the beginning, all of the girls ( except for Emma and Jess ) don't get along particularly well.  Here is a bit about them FROM THE FIRST BOOK so I don't spoil the great surprises to come. :)  So here is a little description of each character.

Jessica ( Jess ) Delaney

Well, first off to say, Jess is completely gorgeous. She is petite, with very pretty long blonde hair, mainly worn in braids. She lives on Half Moon Farm with her Dad, and younger twin brothers. Her mom lives in New York and is an actor on a soap opera. Jess misses her more than anything, and wishes she would come back. Jess also has a very pretty voice, is super smart ( in 6th grade- takes high school math ) and loves science, but is surprisingly the quietest in the club.

Cassidy Ann Sloane

Cassidy has super red curly hair, and she used to live in California with her Mom, Dad, and older sister Courtney. But since her Dad died, she moved from Laguna Beach to Concord, Massachusetts. She is also super tall, just like her past-model mother, and LIVES for The Boston Bruins, Red Sox, and anything that has to do with hokey, which she wants to play but her mom won't let her. She also doesn't really enjoy school and hates reading, therefore isn't exactly the happiest of the book club. Another thing about her is that she eats like a horse, and never gains an ounce, which Becca ( coming up later ) is super jealous of.

Megan Rose Wong

Megan LOVES fashion, and wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. She is always with her notepad, thinking up new outfits ( sure to come in handy later ... :) , but unfortunately her mom wants to save the planet, and is all about eating organic everything, and lives for tofu, and wants Megan to grow up as a polite, world saving chinese hero ! Megan is not excited about that. Another important fact is that her dad is a billionare, and she is part of " The Fab Four ", as Cassidy, Jess, and Emma call it. She is best friends with Becca, but will that change? Megan REALLY doesn't like the book club, too.

Emma Jane Hawthorne

Emma is a total bookworm and has read every book in the world, and enjoyed War And Peace in pre-school. Okay, well not really, but you know what I mean. Emma really likes writing stories and poetry, and her dad is an author and her mom is a librarian, which might explain something. She also is not very good at math, and is.....well let's say she is not exactly on the skinny side.....She is best friends with Jess, and really doesn't like the Fab Four. Emma LOVES the Book Club. She also has an older brother in 8th grade, Darcy. ( Her mom named her and her brother after Jane Austen characters in her books )

Rebecca ( Becca ) Chadwick

Becca is the queen of the Fab Four, the most popular group in school which likes to make fun of Emma and Jess, so she isn't really the nicest girl, and she is really into fashion. Her mom has a RBB ( you will figure that out if you read the books ) , and she doesn't like the Mother Daughter Book Club AT ALL.


Well, I have introduced you to all of the characters, and I REALLY hope you read the books, they DO NOT disappoint! Here are pictures of all of the books.
